Luxembourg CEO Sustainability Club: Overview of European regulatory developments relating to human rights

The directive on the duty of vigilance of companies in matters of sustainability (CSDDD) has just been adopted in the European Parliament. Imposing a harmonized and binding vigilance approach on European territory, it establishes a real duty to act for the companies concerned. The latter will now have to implement an effective vigilance approach across their entire value chain, which, although consistent with the new European reporting obligations, is perfectly unique.

This session will aim to present the new obligations of the CSDDD and their interactions with the other sustainability policy standards of the European Union, to which companies are progressively required.
