After a break in 2022, Passerell is excited to announce the grand return of the Summer Workshops. This 7th edition will take place from July 17th to August 25th, 2023, at the Gare Cultural Center (29, rue de Strasbourg L-1839 Luxembourg), with the support of the City of Luxembourg.
This year, Passerell aims to go back to the basics that have made this event successful, which include French, Luxembourgish, and English language classes every afternoon from Monday to Thursday, with an outing on Fridays to explore the Grand Duchy.
To achieve this, the organization is looking for motivated volunteers who are available for at least one consecutive week and wish to contribute to intercultural exchange with asylum seekers and refugees. Teaching experience or specific language skills are not required, as these are not academic or professional language courses. The main goal is socialization and providing opportunities for practice or introduction to languages and the host society's culture. It's all about building connections.
