Climate Chance Europe 2024 Summit

As part of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the "Climate Chance Europe 2024" Summit, held on Summit, held on 8 and 9 February at the Palais des Congrès in Liège, resulted in the "Liège Declaration" in favour of adapting to the challenges of climate change. 

Over the course of the two days, the aim was to exchange best practices and concrete solutions for achieving the objectives of the European Green Pact. 

With this in mind, the importance of nature-based solutions in adapting to climate change was highlighted, with an emphasis on the preservation, restoration and sustainable management of ecosystems. Non-state actors and politicians were called upon to make this subject a priority within the various European territories.
