Our associate member, Afrilanthropy, is rolling out a new activity to encourage companies to promote circular economy and solidarity actions of their employees.

The challenge consists into encouraging employees to use www.ridingtherainbow.com a popular Luxembourg based solidarity app, which enables people to donate their used items, such as bikes, sport equipment, musical instruments, toys, children's books and more directly to refugee children in Luxembourg.

Born as a response to the massive influx of refugees further to the was in Ukraine, the goal of the app, which is completely free, is not only to give a new life to a preloved belonging to benefit deprived children, but also to encourage residents to connect with refugees and enable them - if they wish so - to take an active role in refugee’s integration journey. The app is equipped with a points system, enabling people to be rewarded for their good deeds of participating in these exchanges, but also inviting others and doing other deeds.

Our associate member would be happy to come and give a presentation to the company, create a dedicated leaderboard for tracking points, and make the experience more fun! The association is committed to present the app upon the launch of the competition and animate a discussion at the end of the 30 days session with the goal of sharing experience with employees.
